Brazil nuts are tree nuts native to the Amazon rainforest. Their smooth, buttery texture and nutty flavor are typically enjoyed raw or blanched.
These nuts are energy dense, highly nutritious, and one of the most concentrated dietary sources of the mineral selenium.
Eating Brazil nuts may benefit your health in several ways, including regulating your thyroid gland, reducing inflammation, and supporting your heart, brain, and immune system.
Brazil nuts, once removed from their shell, can be eaten as is, or chopped up to top over salad or cooked porridges.
Brazil nuts are energy dense and rich in healthy fats, selenium, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, manganese, thiamine, and vitamin E.
The year we started producing superfoods, we founded Happy Little Faces, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for impoverished children in our local community of Lima, Peru. In 2010, we built a kindergarten from scratch, providing free education, lunches, and extra-curricular activities for local children who would otherwise not have these opportunities.
We are proud to say that our initiative has grown successfully in Lima. We thank you for being a large part of our growth as an organization, and for helping the local communities of Peru.

Thank you for choosing Andean Star Organic Brazil nuts and being a part of the story for the next generation Children of the Andes!
